Sliet returned relatively soon, a little bit scraped up. She'd had to move a few bits of rubble to get to where she wanted to go, but managed to find the box anyway, grabbing some things out of it before coming back. "Where did you find some of this stuff?" She asked Raven, not entirely sure what some of it was for.

"I-In the storage. The packs are for collecting plants, or samples or something, but they seem pretty hardy." He replied back uncertainly, hoping he hadn't done anything wrong. "I packed water purifiers, um, whatever industrial pyromechanical matches are? Thermal blankets, and the breathing devices... Food, vitamins and medication, too. Water, um, a soap thing... I found a log with flora types, but that's probably in the ship's database.." He listed off, glancing up at her, a little confused by all the technical names of the stuff.

When they'd reached the ramp and it deployed, a small exit became available, still operable by some miracle.
Harir and Anderson hesitated behind the others, Ashi stayed next to Sliet, a little apprehensive about exiting the safety of the ship.

Raven hesitated as everyone seemed to pause. He glanced at Sliet to make sure it was safe before approaching the door, then placed his hand on the handle. He went quiet then, feeling it impossible to turn it anymore. He wasn't scared of what was on the other side. He just wasn't sure he was ready to step through the door.
It was such a simple action, but carried so much weight.

Sliet nodded at Raven's explanation, rather impressed that he'd managed to find all of this in the mess the ship had become. She followed along with the others to the exit, stopping and eyeing the door apprehensively. She had spent most of her life trying to get here, and now that she was, she wasn't entirely sure how to feel.
This wan't how things were supposed to end up exactly. There was supposed to another ship. There was supposed to be a lot more people here. Some of the ones that were here definitely weren't supposed to be. And they most certainly weren't supposed to crash. But they were here all the same, and she had no idea what was on the other side of that door. She was a little scared to find out.
She chewed on the inside of her cheek nervously as Raven went to open the door. She waited, considering it a moment before stepping forward and placing her hand over his on the handle. She looked over at him, giving the boy a reassuring nod before starting to turn the handle.

Raven blinked at Sliet as she placed her hand on the door. He gave a weak smile back, and took in a breath, fallowing.

When they stepped into light, Raven felt the soft ground beneath connect with his feet. Reddish, feathery grass brushed his legs as it swayed with the warm breeze. He looked up quietly, blinking in the pale, clear light that washed over everything. The morning sky hung white-blue above, massive and blotched with soaring, scattered clouds. A huge moon shifted across the sky in plain sight, not far from the young sun, and faint stars were still visible in the mauve edge of the horizon.
Weathered rocky spires stretched up from the ground, little foothills surrounding their bases.
The ship had landed on one of those slopes, and where they stood was a bit of a hill, leading down into the plush green of the fields.

Raven felt his heart racing in excitement as he took a couple steps forward, looking around. Clean, flower-smelling air filled his lungs as he breathed, and everything felt so warm and gentle. Whatever he'd been hoping to see, it hadn't compared to this.

Ashi fallowed out after them, looking around in wonder at the vibrate new planet.

Pel reached down and brushed the grass-like plants with her fingers before involuntarily letting out a happy noise as her chest filled with sudden delight. She hesitated, looking around, before running up to Raven, speechless as they stared at each other.

Harir looked around as his eyes adjusted to the light, bewildered and amazed.

Anderson exited last, grumbling at first at the hesitance to get off the ship, but shut up, his eyes widening as he blinked into the sunlight.

Sliet stepped out of the ship slowly, looking around in awe. she had imagined this place countless times in the past, but this was beyond anything she could ever even hope to imagine. "Holy shit." she whispered, trying to take everything in.

Raven stood in silence until Pel bowled into him, wrapping him in her arms and taking him to the ground with the impact. As he rolled into the soft grass, he blinked in shock at Pel's laughter, but smiled warmly as she hugged him.
The girl let go, rolling onto her back and staring back at him, grinning, her hand clutching his. He thought he saw tears in her eyes.
After a moment she sat up, getting to her feet and helping him do the same. When she finally let go of his hand, she gave him a last look before hurrying off down the slope. Raven fallowed after her, a little more calmly.

As the group walked, there seemed to be very little movement of the sun's position in the bright sky. Clouds continued to roll endlessly across the blue, and the wind flowed gently over the fields.

Raven and Pel got increasingly more playful before eventually calming down and walking together, watching the clouds, exploring and talking.

Ashi walked alone for a bit before eventually moving up with Pel and Raven, her youth showing whenever the three discovered something new or broke out into laughter, getting caught up in the excitement.

Anderson walked at the back, taking things in quietly and keeping his mouth shut.

Harir walked beside Sliet, disappearing for a while only to return with a large bundle of strange, colorful flower-like plants. He held them out to Sliet upon getting back to her again. He wasn't sure what to say, and felt a little awkward. "Here. T-There wasn't really any flowers back home. Do you like them?" He asked uncertainly.

Sliet chased after the kids as they tok off down the hill, a broad grin on her face, looking around excitedly. She slowed once they calmed down, walking beside Harir contentedly and watching the three younger ones in amusement. She looked up as Harir dissapeared, somewhat worried about him but went back to keep an eye on Ashi and the other two. She looked back when he returned with wide eyed surprise at the flowers. She'd only ever read about things like that in books. "T-they`re beautiful. Thank you." She stuttered, giving him a light kiss on the cheek. She looked over the flowers, pulling out a smaller red one and gently placing it in his hair.

Harir's eyes fluttered shut and he smiled in embarrassment as Sliet kissed him. He looked at her in confusion when she placed the flower in his hair. He reached his hand up to touch it uncertainly. He didn't mind, he was just a little perplexed.
Anything feminine in nature that he had done, in appearance, or manner, had always gotten him weird looks or disapproval. It just wasn't normal in the complexes where he and the other healthy individuals had lived, there had always been a lot of emphasis in staying within gender and sex boundries, for the good of the population that everything was clear and concise, as the federation had put it.
Even though the flower had been a small gesture, he felt a lot of emotions hit him. Maybe Sliet didn't care about that stuff. It was an odd thought, but he left the flower in his hair and smiled back. "N-No problem.

As they continued to walk, Anderson started to drag behind, limping badly, but tried not to say anything. Raven attempted to approach him, passively, but he had none of it. He just wanted to wait until they could stop, and he would try to deal with the injury himself. The only thing was, night didn't seem any closer than it had nearly six or seven hours ago. It still looked like a noon sun in the sky.

Sliet smiled back at him happily, returning to her normal pace. She tried to talk a little bit with the others, but she wasn't overly great at maintaining conversation, instead deciding after a time to occasionally bump into Harir affectionately. Eventually she started to notice Anderson falling behind, feeling more frustrated with him than sorry for him. His injury could have been taken care of with ease already by either her or Raven, but the man just had to be stubborn. Actually, maybe he hit his head in the crash? Nah, he'd always been about this stupid. "If you don't hurry up I'm going to have to carry you."she called back to him, only mostly joking. If she had to, she would do it. She wouldn't enjoy it, but she would do what she had to. How long had they been going anyway. It certainly felt like a lot longer than it looked. It stil seemed like mid day, but she could have sworn they had been walking for hours. "How long have we been walking?" She muttered to Harir, confused.

Harir looked over at Sliet, hesitating and stopping in his tracks to check. "..Almost seven hours. No wonder I feel like my legs are going to fall off." He muttered. "The days must be longer here... or something...? Maybe we should rest?" He suggested, trying not to look too pityingly at Anderson. He could tell the man was in agony. Though it was definately his own fault at this point.

Anderson glared up at her, his face contorted and pale from the pain of keeping up on his bad leg. He said nothing, barely managing to catch up as Harir checked the time. As soon as they stopped, he seemed to wither; first pausing and trying to catch his breath, then sitting down in the grass a bit away from them, holding back a yelp as he straightened his leg out.

Sliet stopped beside him, blinking in surprise. She thought it had been a while, but not that long. If the sun here only moved that much in seven hours, how long was it before it would set? and more importantly, how long were the nights? She nodded, shrugging off her pack after considering it a moment. She looked over at the three kids to make sure they were okay before walking over to where Anderson was sitting. "Are you going to let me take care of it now? it'll only take a minute." She told him almost seeming worried underneath her annoyance.

Anderson glanced back at her, looking frustrated, but hesitated. He didn't want to admit to needing help again, but he wasn't sure how much longer he could take the pain. It would likely get infected if he left it, too. "F-Fine. If you insist. But I can handle it myself." He added at the end, muttering.

Pel, taking in the plants surrounding her, felt as if she knew each one. It was an odd feeling; she could recognize them and names filled her head. That one liked heat. That one tasted like carrots. That one bloomed brilliantly. It was very confusing, and she wondered if she was day dreaming or something.

Sliet sniffed at Anderson's response, but sat down next to him anyway, reaching out to touch the injury gingerly, starting her usual process. Having a better look at it, she was rather impressed he'd made it this far on that leg. She somewhat wanted to try and start a conversation as she usually did in these situations, but she wasn't sure how with Anderson, or if she even wanted to go there.

Anderson glanced away awkwardly as she went to heal his leg, a little shocked by the amount of metal that was drawn from his leg. Why was it always his leg?
He muttered a thanks, relaxing a little as his leg was numbed.
"Are we stopping to camp?" He asked briefly, trying to sound disinterested, but in reality he was pretty exhausted after all that.

Pel came up to them, fallowed soon after by Raven and Ashi. She had a couple thick, odd looking plants in her arms that she'd uprooted. The roots were turnip like in shape but silvery, white and translucent, with tiny pale veins running though the thick of it. The foliage was a lump of lush green leaves and black pods
"H-hey. Sliet. I think I... I don't know. I remember plants." She addressed the other uncertainty, not sure who to ask about her weird feelings.

"Probably a good idea. It's been a long day. No pun intended." She said absently, finishing up with her work and leaning back with a sigh. She looked up at Pel when she approached, shifting her gaze between the three of them curiously before the girl spoke. Her brows furrowed in confusion at the others statement. "what do you mean 'remember'?" she asked oddly, giving the copper haired girl her full attention.

Anderson let out a barely contained sigh of relief, settling back on the grass and moving his pack to the side.

Pel shrugged, not sure how to explain it. "I... I don't know. I just. I know the names of some of them. Whether they're edible, things about them. It...It's just there." She replied, looking almost frightened. "Like these ones have a lot of starch." She added, holding up the plants she'd pulled up.

"I think she's been munching on some kind of plants." Ashi snorted, folding her arms.

Sliet looked at the girl, puzzled as to how she knew these things. Maybe Ashi was right and Pel was just losing it, but she seemed fine enough. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." She muttered to herself, looking Pel up and down almost skeptically before shaking it off. With the amount of weird shit she'd seen in her life, she was not foing to question a kid knowing what they could and couldn't eat. At least not right now. "Uhhh. I dunno. Just make sure Ashi and the boys don't eat or touch anything they shouldn't. " she instructed still unsure of what to make of this.

"Oh. Okay." Pel replied, still perplexed, even more so that Sliet had no clue what was going on. She fiddled with the plants for a bit longer before sitting down.

As they rested, Pel remained restless, fiddling with plants for a while. She eventually laid down on her back in the grass, starting to eat one of the turnip things with a look of frustration.

Raven, tirelessly, seemed unable to break his attention from the fascinating new planet. He sat down after a while next to Pel, and curled up beside her, watching her destroy the poor turnip.

Anderson passed out a few moments after he'd laid down, laying still in the warmth, a little ways from the others.

Ashi settled next to Sliet, curling on her side and shutting her eyes. She was still exhausted from trying to recharge, and now seemed a good time as any to get some sleep, even if it was still day time.

Harir played with a crimson flower in his hands, examining it quietly where he laid.

Slit smiled warmly when Ashi laid next to her, gently running her fingers through the others hair until she was sure she was asleep. She sat there for a while longer listening to the girl's breathing thoughtfully before getting up to lay down next to Harir. "What are you thinking about?" She asked quietly, looking over at him.

Harir glanced up when Sliet, feeling suddenly embarrassed. "O-oh, uh, I don't know." He replied quickly, not feeling like it would be a good idea to tell Sliet his feelings about putting flowers in his hair. He had no idea of her opinion of him, but he didn't want to make it worse. He tried a joke, just to see how she reacted. "Think I'd make a pretty girl?" He laughed, touching the flower in his hair, though, it wasn't completely a joke. He didn't think he would mind looking flowery, or even feminine.

Sliet smiled oddly, confused as to where his question had come from. "The prettiest." She replied, blinking at him curiously. There was something he wasn't telling her, she could tell that much. She was a little worried as to what it might be, but he would tell her if he wanted to. She stretched her arms over her head absently, enjoying the warmth the sun provided.

Harir gave a small laugh, looking down at the grass, taking the flower back in his hand. It was wilting slightly now, but he didn't want to let go of it. "Not any prettier than you." He grinned mischievously.
He smiled as she put her hands up in the air, sitting up to be beside her. "It's warm here, huh?" He said softly, running his hands through the reeds.

There were soft looking grey clouds approaching, but the air was still relatively gentle and summery.
Ashi and Anderson were asleep on the grass, Pel was fiddling restlessly, and Raven was dozing next to her, still for once.

Sliet's smile twitched up a bit more at his comment, leaning over to give him a light nudge. She felt a pleasant feeling settle in her chest, like drinking warm honey. "mmmm, It's nice." she said softly, leaning over to rest her head on his shoulder, listening to the breathing and heartbeats of the others contentedly. they all seemed calm and relaxed enough, and for the moment, so was she.

Harir smiled warmly, closing his eyes for a moment and just staying there with her. Everything felt so peaceful, like some sort of dream that they didn't have to wake up from.

He opened his eyes when things started to get a little darker, looking up at the sky. The clouds that had seemed far away only a moment ago were rolling steadily across the open sky. He blinked up in concern at the sudden change in weather.

Raven sat bolt up right with a droplet of water hit his cheek, leaping up so fast Pel yelped and jumped back. "Shit- What's wrong?" She asked in exasperation, noting the clouds rolling in and hesistating.
"N-nothing, just.." He glanced about in confusion at the surrounding area. "O-oh, it's raining."
"No shit."

Anderson woke up groggily as rain pattered over him, lightly at first, letting out a groan of disapointment.

Ashi remained still and quiet on the ground, sleeping soundly.

Sliet looked up when she felt Harir move, following his gaze to the clouds. That was fast, she hadn't even realized that they had been headed in their direction. She chuckled in amusement at the reactions of the others, not minding the rain as much. She could handle the cold, but she was a little bit worried about the others. Especially Raven. he was looking better than he had been, but being cold and wet wouldn't help anything.
