Raven sat beside her, placing a hand on the cover of the book, but hesitating to open it. "It's... well, it's just something I think you have the right to know. Tirza must have known, maybe Harir. " He flipped open the dry old pages, opening to drawn lineages of the gods before he found the pages about the tyrant; scrawled darker and more hesitantly, as if the writer had struggled over each word. He pushed the book gently over for her to see, tapping the line and moving his hand back without a word.
From Archelus branched his two children, and from the son, a swath of other names, some scratched out, but one name was all too familiar.

Iste watched the book curiously, her posture stiffening and her face paling as she looked over the page he was showing her. "What is this?" she asked, knowing full well what the page was indicating. What was his intent in showing her this?

Raven watched other grow pale as he glanced up at her before looking over the page again.
"Just ink and paper." He replied quietly, tearing free the page with the drawn lineage, standing back, and letting a wave of cinders travel up the old parchment, disintegrating into fine ash in his palm. "It doesn't change anything. I just thought you deserved to know. That was the only record." He added.

Iste's eyebrows shot up as Raven burned the page, astonished that he wasn't going to use this opportunity. "Thank you " she said shakily. She couldn't seem to reconcile this information within herself, sitting there and fidgeting for a long moment. "Do you know where Caligo is?" she asked, standing from her chair, her lunch forgotten. She needed a favour.

Raven watched the other worriedly, maybe he shouldn't have brought it up in the first place. "I think I saw him in the kitchen with Raul earlier. Do you want me to come with you?" He offered.

Iste set her jaw oh her way out. "Only if you want to talk to some ghosts." She called back to him, off to the kitchen to find the boy.

Raven hopped up and followed after her. "Do I? He questioned, not about to pass up a chance to see Sliet. Besides, whatever Iste was going to do, he wanted to support her. Especially if it was to cuss out Harir.

Caligo jumped when Iste nearly tore the door to the kitchen off of it's hinges, stumbling as not to drop the hot teapot he was carrying.

"Cal are you busy?" She asked, clearly irritated by something.

"U-Uhh we were just making tea. Is it urgent?" The boy asked, shaken.

"Yes" She told him, perhaps a bit sharply.

Raven followed after Iste, a little more warily as she stormed into the kitchen. He stepped in after her. "Sorry, my fault. Found something." He got out apologetically, glancing at Caligo and Raul.

Raul watched Iste storm in, listening to the exchange, he helpfully took the pot from Caligo, and continued pouring their tea out into cups. He took his and brought it to Iste. "Here. You look mad." He smiled, offering the hot cup.

Iste took the teacup stiffly, taking a deep breath of the steam in an attempt to calm herself.

Her shoulders seemed to ease but it did nothing for the tight pinched line between her brows. " I need to speak with harir." She stated far more evenly.

Caligo held his own cup, looking them over in concern. It was far from the first time he'd seen iste so set on something, but never this... on edge about it. He reached out with his share almost reflexively, confused as to what would make her act this way.

She was scared. Betrayed, maybe angry, but under it all she was scared.

"He won't be going anywhere anytime soon. We can finish our tea." He told her calmly, trying to extend an air of it across the whole room.

"What did you find?" Asked Raul, picking up his own cup.

Raven followed in, leaning on the wall near them so Iste could sit. At Raul's question, he glanced to Iste, letting her decide if she'd answer.
