KAZUKEDUD:
Kaus
Kaus felt an odd ache as she blinked open her eyes. Trying to wake up, she curled and uncurled her stiff fingers slowly and then sorely propped herself up, her dark hair falling in her eyes and her outfit askew. She gazed around the room with a growing sense of unease until she noticed the other girl laying on the bed and immediately jumped up. /Oh my god I .actually fell asleep! Idiot!/ She looked around; it might be early morning, at most, judging by the light filtering through the curtains. Maybe there was still time to get away, if she was careful. She crouched by the bed, lightly touching the other girl's arm. "Somnia? Somnia wake up, we have to go." She whispered urgently.

Harir stood in the large kitchen on the ground floor, surrounded by powerful demons and rusty cooking instruments, a dusty light shown through the cracks in the old glass window. He paced back and forth before turning to them on a whirl of his heel. Today was going to be an interesting day. "I've gathered you here so early to discuss the human children. Yesterday, we managed to bring young Phi, Zeta, Omega, Omicron, Delta, Psi, Eta Epsilon and Theta back to safety here. But I'm afraid the rest ended up finding their way to the humans. This is a serious matter. But we also have other issues. Zeta and Phi have fought against the rest of us and gone their own way; be extremely cautious if you meet up with one of them. On another note, we need food for the children." He glanced over them. "Psi and Lambda; I want you two to get something to eat prepared." He told the two briefly before turning. "Iota, Omega and the others; get the humans up and gathered... we're going to have to explain things to them. Then each of you can spend time with your counterpart. Young Zeta and Phi are here as well, be kind to them.

Omega
Raven opened his eyes sometime before first light, blinking in the darkness, and was almost instantly awake. He remained still for a moment, contemplating his surroundings before silently gathering his jacket and Astrum's shirt and standing up quietly. The boy crossed the room and exited into the hall without a sound. He could barely see in the darkness but found his way down the stairs, avoiding the creaking step he had noticed the night before. He made his way to one of the many exits and slipped outside into the pale purple haze of light that was growing over the city. He didn't see any of the apparitions that had appeared last night, to his relief, and proceeded to walk about the campus. Coming to a small stone fountain surrounded by tall grass, he knelt down carefully and looked into the dark water. It looked clean enough; it must have been beautiful at one point, but it was empty of any life now and likely unsanitary Almost instantly he brought it to a hushed boil to kill any bacteria in the liquid, and then let it cool off. He proceeded to wash Astrum's shirt and some of his own clothes; his own shirt, along with his jacket and gloves. The sky had lightened considerably by the time he was done and had dried out the clothing. He pulled on his jacket and gloves as he made his way carefully back up the stairs and into the room, making an effort not to disturb the two others. He sat back down but as a few moments passed he was having trouble just sitting there. There were no daily cleanings to get done, no patrols to attend. He was up and ready early like every morning to do his job. Only he didn't have one. He played with a loose thread on his glove, neatly folded Astrum's shirt and set it aside, checked out the window impulsively and retied his boots. Finally he ended up searching his first aid kit for a needle and thread and sewing up the jagged cut in the side of his shirt as he waited for others to wake up.

O
Not being given a job other than to wake the humans up, Ororo grinned and ran off, dodging the others, running out into the main hall and leaping up the stairs. She had a new friend to play with, and to the one little child who was constantly beneath everyone's feet and at the back of their minds, this was like Christmas. She burst into the room of the three boys, ignoring young Omega's look of surprise and plopped down in front of Astrum. leaning forward she ruffled his hair to wake him up like the others often did to her.

The man let a weary growl out as the sun peaked over the skyline, rudely shining in his dark eyes and stinging his skin. He hurriedly stumbled off of his path and lost his footing, crashing into a pocket of shadow. He pulled himself up against the moldy wall at his back and sucked in breaths. He was completely spent after the night before and every movement was agony. He'd just been able to teleport away from the fight and he'd barely gotten more than fifty feet before collapsing on the street and trying to regenerate to some extent. When he'd managed to get up he'd had no idea where Nixon had gone and had spent the entire night trying to seek out his presence while avoiding the other demons. Now he had caught wind of the other and was making painfully slow progress towards him. He shoved himself up again and pulled his damaged hood farther over his eyes, He pondered on the night before, even thought his actions didn't seem to make that much sense any more- they never did with time, it was as if his mind never worked the same way from one moment to the next and it was a constant torrent of confusion and regret.
As he stumbled to the place where Nixon's presence felt strongest, he straightened himself out despite the pain and forced himself to walk at a steady gait. he was shocked to feel the presence of and then see three of the children who had arrived here.

RHO (With Zeta, Sigma and Tau)
Otto watched the strangers around him nervously, his sensitive fluffy ears flicking at every little sound. He felt very self conscious of his ears. Everyone else seemed to have none and he felt really bad for them, and wondered how they were hearing each other. Maybe they had lost them in fights or were just born without them. Either way, he couldn't help glancing at the other two boys's heads curiously every now and then despite trying not to be rude. Were they missing their tails too? Or were they just tucked away like his? He tryed to focus on the situation at hand, hoping to learn soon what all this was about and find out how to go home.

PHI
Somnia rolled over and squinted at the girl confused as to where she was for a moment. Her expression went from confused to grim as she remembered the day before. "We can't" she grumbled tiredly sitting up and rubbing the sleep from her eyes, along with the lingering images from her nightmare. "Do anything stupid and die. Thats pretty much what i was told last night while you were... out."
Om
Sliet made her way through the group of demons in the kitchen and headed for the stairs. She figured it would be best to go and get Phi first, then get her own counterpart. She wasnt sure how the others would react to her because of what Nixon had done, but she had already seen and fought with the girl, and from what she could tell, young Phi was nothing like her counterpart. She quietly walked up to the door, knocking a few times, and waited patiently for someone to answer.
Omicron
Astrum loked up at the small girl, bleary eyed. His eyes went wide once they focussed unsure what to make of the situation. He blinked a couple of times as if to assure himself that he wasnt seeing things. "Umm... hello?" He said, though it sounded like a question, even to himself.
Io
Porfirio followed after Ororo as quickly as he could, though he had a fair bit more trouble getting out of the crowd of demons. He jogged after her once he made it through the door, taking long strides to the now open door. He chuckled and leaned on the as he saw Ororo on the floor with Omicron. It was kind of adorable.

FICTIONAL PIECES

L
Daer stood around with the rest of the demons, standing nervously towards the back of the group. He already knew the basic gist of what was going on, what humans they had been able to find and what they were faced with. Though it didn't make it any less nerve wracking. Dipping his head as he was told to get some food prepared, he nodded over at Psi before they headed off to the kitchen. Hopefully the children weren't to picky about what they ate. He assumed that they would eat whatever they were given in this situation, but it was hard to tell. They would just have to understand that food, while they had it, could be scarce and they should eat when they got the chance.

Ps
Taliel nodded as he was told to go with Daer to find something to eat. He had been thankful to be sent with the male. He was one of the few demons he could stand, and he wouldn't have felt awkward standing around where his kid had yet to arrive. He or she had unfortunately found their way to the humans and he just hoped that they'd be able to get a hold of the rest of them. Rummaging around through the cupboards, he got to work on helping Daer cook and prepare the food. Absentmindedly playing with the water as it boiled, he tilted his head to the side as he wondered what exactly his successor would be like. When the food was finished, the pair loaded it onto trays before carrying it back to the room they had been in previously, assuming it was where they were meeting up.

D
Jeroisa, having been towards the front of the group as they stood huddled around to listen to Alpha, glanced around as the other's were told to do this and what. Though he didn't show it, he was rather excited to meet his own child. Waiting until the other demons had left the room, he turned and followed the majority of them up the stairs. D[cont]
He wasn't sure what room young Delta had been placed in, though it wouldn't be hard to find as long as he followed the kids energy source. Finding the door, he raised a hand and knocked before he slowly opened the door to peek in "Are you awake in here?" he questioned.

ZETA
Once he had fallen asleep the night before, Kail had slept rather soundly through the night. It had been his first decent nights sleep in months, which he assumed was on the part of how exhausting the previous day had been. Waking up in some strange city was strange enough, but running into other's that were experiencing the same thing, and only to find out they had some sort of powers. He had almost been hoping that when he went to sleep that night, he'd wake up back at home. Though home wasn't that great of a place either. The people were nice enough, if you followed their rules and basically allowed them to rule your life. The boy had heard one of the others get up and move about, but he stayed curled up under the blanket. There really was no need to get up yet, was there? Someone could easily wake him anyway when it was time to get up. Unfortunately, he slowly started to wake up from his sleep, groaning and burying his face into his jacket. It wasn't to much longer before the door flew open, causing him to jump and sit up instantly. Realizing that it was just the young girl from before, he glanced up to the older demon that had accompanied her before letting out a yawn and stretching.
ETA
Adrian let out a sigh as he sat on the edge of the bed. Sleep hadn't come to the red head that night, to wary about the current situation to possible fall asleep in the first place. He knew he'd regret it, but he didn't exactly trust anyone here. But now the sun was up and hopefully he'd be able to leave soon enough. Glancing towards the dark ball of fur curled up on the pillow he had used, he let out a sigh before shaking his head. At least he had one trusted companion through this whole ordeal. The cat had been by his side for a while now, and he honestly felt bad about it being dragged here with him.

XI
Austin had almost instantly fallen asleep after being shown to his room. He had spent a majority of the day wandering around the city, trying to find someone or something that would let him know where he was. He had been in big cities before, but something about this one felt wrong. Not only were the buildings falling apart, for the most part, but there seemed to be no one around. Even in the quietest parts of his hometown, there were still people lining the streets. In the end, he had finally ended up running into someone and being led back to what seemed to be a campus for the night. He was surprised to see that other's were in the same situation as he had been in. Was someone kidnapping all these kids and dumping them someplace? It was the only thing he could think of, though they didn't seem to be from around that time.

XI[cont]
Being ushered off to a room, he had no complaints about sharing a room with anyone as all he wanted to do was at least lay down and rest his aching feet. But what was there to do now that he was awake again? He didn't believe they were allowed out into the hallways to just wander around, but surely they couldn't be expected to just stay inside all day?

EPSILON
Damian had no idea what to do. The last thing he had remembered before arriving in this strange beat up town was horsing around with his brother. And now he was alone, wandering through the torn up streets. There had been a few times he had thought he'd heard voices, but he was sure that his mind was just playing tricks on him. Surely he'd wake up soon and be back at him with Joel and the rest of their family. But that didn't seem to be the case. Eventually someone had found him and taken him and a few other's back to the campus. When they had first started to join up with the group, hope had started to grow in his chest for the fact that Joel easily could have been one of the other kids that had been found by these strange people. Unfortunately he hadn't been. The blond had sulked the rest of the night, worried for his brother. Surely he'd be there the next morning. It wasn't like Joel to just up and disappear like this, even if they had been separated on purpose, they had always been able to find each other again some how. He had tried to sleep, though little sleep actually came. At some point during the night, he had gotten up off the bed and moved over to the window in the room, leaning against it and looking out at whatever he could see, hoping to spot his brother.
P
Nixon had thankfully been able to find a few of the kids, though the three of them weren't the kids that both he and Zeta were after. But he figured that they'd be able to use them to get a hold of young Phi and Zeta in the end. He had offered the three of them safety for the night and an explanation once his companion had returned from where he had gone to. After the sun had emerged the following day, Nixon started to pace around, having woken up the kids, if they had even been asleep. Where in the hell was Zeta? They had parted ways the night before, and he had yet to return. Surely he hadn't gotten beaten by the kids if he had found them again. Rolling his eyes at the thought, he stopped his pacing as he felt the other demon's presence growing stronger. Glancing towards the male as he finally arrived, he raised a slender eyebrow "What took you so long? I found these few kids before the other's or the humans got a hold of them. I figured they'd be useful to us."

TAU
Kayden, though wary about the man and two other's that had been with him, had agreed to join him simply for the night. Things seemed dangerous around here, and while he could have handled himself had he had any of his weapons, that wasn't the case. He had only been sitting outside when all of a sudden he blacked out and woke up here only to find some strange man standing over him. He had been about to attack, to ask him where in the hell he was, but he had been promised an explanation and somewhere safe to stay for the night. If one thing was important, that was safety. Back home it wasn't safe to be out during the night either, though it wasn't safe anytime of the day.TAU[cont]
Strange creatures roamed the land and a human would make an easy meal for them. Noticing the... strange looking man make his way towards them, his eyes narrowed slightly. "Can we have an explanation now? We've waited all night..."

Kaus
Kaus starred back at Somnia for a moment, her heart falling in her chest. It was like she had thought, getting in here last night had been too easy; they were trapped here. She lowered her eyes and sank back to the floor. What would they do to her? What would they do to Somnia? A hundred horrible things flashed through her mind in that moment, and she felt the overwhelming dread that came with knowing you were going to die. But she bit it back and shut her eyes. /Come on, you aren't going to die. This is what you were trained for, Kuas! Sure... I sucked at training, my team mates hated me, and I'm pretty sure I'm only got sent out here because I was expendable, but I'll prove them wrong and pay Somnia back for saving me and get back home!/ She thought determinedly, forcing her usual pessimism and anxiety down and trying to think positively. Then she came to the realization that Somnia could probably hear her thoughts and turned red in embarrassment. Getting to her feet and turning away to pick up the pillow left on the ground and stood straight. Then she nearly jumped into the air when there was a knock at the door.

O
Ororo smiled at Astrum, baring her pointy teeth in bliss and taking his hands in hers as if to lead him, then dropping them and leaping to her feet and and gesturing for him to fallow, taking off in such a hurry that she ran into Porfirio's leg and fell backwards onto her rear, then got up unfazed, looked back at Astrum expectantly and took off out of the room again.

Harir's thoughts, watching the demons disperse, anxiously turned to his absent successor. She or he would be leading these children at some point, and for all he knew, they were getting their head filled with lies in the human's compound or being tortured and exorcised into powerlessness, like Ororo had, and he could do nothing about it for the time being. He considered young Phi and Zeta, who were without their predecessors... Perhaps he could help young Zeta? He could do all the things Zeta could, he was only more clumsy with lightning than the other as he was more in control over the pressure and matter that could create the electricity than energy itself. But until he could find his own counterpart, working with Zeta would at least be productive. He strode after the demons ahead of him and walked to the open door of young Zeta's, Omnicron's and Omega's room. He noted Ororo and Porfirio quietly, watching them look happy for the first time in a while and felt a pang of the sadness that had been wracking his sleep... did his friends know what awaited them? A second thought crossed his mind; Why were the children all on the floor? Too shy to lay with each other? He looked over to Zeta's sleepy successor and cleared his throat, making his presence known. "Young Zeta, due to the circumstances, you'll be with me today, but for now, I'd like all of you to come down for breakfast."

Raven stood up as the others entered the room, the little girl with Astrum. He didn't understand how these people were demons. They seemed completely different from the man who'd attacked them and he felt a mix of relief and wariness at the same time. When the third man entered his worry washed the relief away. Especially when the other called Kail out to go with him. For what? He felt himself tensing with anxiousness at the fact they were being separated still without a real explanation. Where he was from, that's how people ended up dead when they were guilty of nothing. Was it because of Kail's association with the other, violent man who had been called Zeta? He considered that he might be over analyzing but couldn't shake the panic rising up inside him.

Z
Zeta shot a painfully sardonic glare at Nixon and then at the child before him. "Oh? I figured Nixon would have given you an explanation with all the time that I was gone." He spat out, trying not to hunch over from the pain still present. He sighed and turned to the three children, thinking carefully on how to word this explanation. He kind of felt like going straight to death threats, but knew that should be saved for last resorts. "Well, for starters, each of you is special. So special that you were lucky enough to be torn from your loving families to meet us! Aren't you lucky? Now, before you ask, no, you can't go home. And no, you can't go back to your lives. Never again." He grinned sarcastically. "But while you take this in and cry for your mothers or comfy beds. Know that we didn't bring you here of our own choosing, but understand that we will help you. You see, cooperate and maybe instead of wandering around this city until you get eaten by undead or die from starvation, we /will/ be willing to show you how to get home, and teach you a few things about yourselves in the process. What do you think?"

PHI
Somnia brought a hand up to cover her mouth and keep herself from laughing as she caught the last of Kaus' stray thoughts. She kind of sounded like a child determined to grow up and be stronger than their parents. Her efforts to stifle her laughter failed as Kaus jumped though, falling into a fit of giggles before getting up to answer the door, her sock feet moving silently across the floor. She took a moment before reaching for the handle to stop her laughter. She blinked up at the demon before her, her face still flushed from laughing.
Om
"Good morning" sliet said as the door opened, smiling warmly at the two girls in the room. She looked oved to the human girl hesitantly, both hoping she wouldnt try to kill her again, and realizing that Harir hadnt mentioned her this morning. She shrugged it off, addressing both children as she spoke. "You guys coming down for breakfast? Were going to explain some stuff too, wouldnt want to miss that". She smiled, trying to hide how awkward she felt... well... talking at all really. She wasnt good with people in general, and she wasnt sure what to expect from these two.
Omicron
Astrums eyes widened even more at the sight of the small girls sharp teeth. He stared at her blankly as she pulled at him and gestured for him to follow, completely speechless and rather confused as to what just happened and what was going on now. He looked to the others, hoping they could clear some things up before another strange man came i to the room. He felt even more confused now. That was Kail, not Zeta. It was too early in the morning for this. He brought a hand up to rub his eyes and wake himself up some, taking a deep breath. He was certain this was going to be a long day.
Io
Porfirio watched as Ororo ran into him, about to help her up when she hoped up on her own and ran out. It was kind of nice to have someone with that level of energy and enthusiasm around. (C)

He chuckled once more before addressing the other two children in the room. "And that goes for you two as well. I mean, the food and explinaton part anyway." He said, already in the kind of good mood that would be hard to ruin, even this early in the morning.
Astrum glared at the red eyed man smiling in the doorway. He didnt trust that man. Something was seriously wrong with anyone who was that happy this early in the morning.
B
Tirza made her way out of the room with quick strides once the meeting had ended, headed for the library that she had discovered a long time ago, but had yet to tell any of the others about, though she often ran off to the building without telling any of the others. It wasnt far from the campus so she knew she would be back before the others had gotten all of the kids up, as long as she could find what she was looking for easily. She climbed through a small window at the back of the huge building, looking around at the carefully stacked shelves that she had taken the time to care for and organize, highly valueing the information withing with hopes that it would help her understand this world just a bit more. She ran over to a large, dusty pinboard on the wall, blowing the dust off before taking it down and carying it with her and going to find the map she had discovered several months ago. She pulled the roll of paper off of the shelf where she had left it, opening it to see a map of the world with no names or drawn borders. Rolling it back up with a small smile, she stopped in one of the offices to grab a small box of old pins before runing out the door of the library in the directionmof the campus, quite satisfied with her idea. Maybe this could help the kids get along a bit better if they didnt at first, and if they did, then it could help them understand just a bit more.

Calor yawned, fixing the strange looking man in front of him with a blank stare. It was what he had done his entire life, acting like he didnt understand or couldnt talk when in fact he always understood, no matter what. But when everyone assumed you were just something stupid to be toyed with and used for the amusement for the higher class rich people, who was he to dissapoint them, it was easier that way.He had been rather confused when he woke up in this strange plance, unsure of what to do without someone to give him orders. Even now, he didnt particularly care what happened to him, as long as someone fed him every so often, he cojldnt care less.

Kuas
Glared daggers as Somnia laughed all the way to the door, but her expression quickly changed when the Demon from last night entered and she looked down as the other spoke. Growing confused and then frustrated at the other's casual, friendly tone and smiling face. She didn't understand. Perhaps it was a ruse- but... She remembered the look of fear and surprise on the girl's face when she had tried to attack in in defense of Somnia, and it didn't make any sense. Her people were afraid of these people for a logical reason, they must be; this girl was one of the demons who had destroyed their beautiful world, wasn't she? Either way, she wasn't going to let her guard down, and if there was a chance to escape with Somnia, she would take it. For now she fallowed the others down to the "breakfast."

A
Harir turned away and left the room, assuming the children would fallow. He rapidly descended the stairs and looked into the plethora of children and demons running about. The...food? set out along the table. He quickly made note to make sure Daer's presence was nearby incase the children ended up with some kind of food poisoning. /How old /are/ those beans?/ He wondered briefly before feeling Beta's strong presence approach, moving quickly. He felt a hint of alarm, walking to the heavy entrance doors and pushing it out to look over to where she was approaching, but there didn't seem to be any cause for worry. He waited until she got closer, holding the door for her. "What's the matter?" He asked, glancing at the rolled paper.

Omega
Raven hesitantly fallowed after a moment, waiting for the other two as they headed downstairs.

Z
Zeta narrowed his eyes as the silence from the group. "It's not a rhetorical question. Do you want to go home or not?" He growled beneath his breath. "Because the only chance you have of that is cooperating with us." He didn't want to explain, he just wanted to sleep, and he could feel his frustration rising as he looked at the silent faces, but turned on his heel, sucking in a breath of air and trying to suppress the discordant chorus of voices inside him that were screaming for the blood and terror of the insolent children. He couldn't let it get control, not now, but It was getting harder to remember who he was with every day. It felt so good to let the anger out but with every scream or rogue charge of lightning he let free, his grip slipped a little. Collecting himself to his best ability, he turned back to the three children and tried to re-explain himself. "This is a completely different world from where you came from. No amount of walking will take you home. And the people here don't want to let you go home, they want you... and us, dead, because of our powers, because they are scared of what they don't know. Nothing is going to change this situation; at this point the only option, for all of us, is to escape this world before it's too late." /To late for me./ "I know how, unlike the rest of the fools on this planet, but my comrades were... unwilling to except my methods. And now the only way you are ever going to be able to escape this place is to listen to me, and do exactly as I say. It's better for everyone... And if you aren't willing to help in our pursuits, you can always go and wander this lovely city for the rest of your days... or at least until the wildlife gets you." At this a previously silent hound came into sight, a massive brown monster with half of it's face torn away to reveal bloody muscle and bleached bone. He stroked a hand along it's neck.

RHO
Otto flattened his ears against the sides of his head, not liking this at all. He stayed quiet like the others as he took it all in. He swallowed and opened his mouth to speak up, but let out something of a terrified squeak as the dog appeared, tensing and shaking wildly, he took a step back, his ears laying flatter and his eyes wide.

Daer had moved to stand off to the side, not wanting to get in any of the kids or demons way as they ate or tried to explain what was going on. He didn't want to run off though in case any of the kids got sick or had any unattended injuries. Though he had cooked the beans for breakfast, he wasn't exactly trustworthy of them. They had surely been here when humans still lived through all of the city, and who knew how long they had been there before hand as well.
ZETA
Kail blinked sleepily as he debated on curling up back on the floor to go back to sleep. The floor was a million times more comfortable than his bed at home. Or that was his own opinion anyway. Running his finger's through his hair, Kail grabbed his jacket and fluffed it out so he would be able to pull it back on. Sliding one arm in, he looked up wide eyed at who he was assuming to be all the demon's leader as he was told that he would be with him. He glanced towards both Raven and Astrum for a brief moment. He really didn't want to be separated from the few people he could trust, especially if he was being taken away because everyone assumed he was going to be like the man that was after him. He nodded his head slowly, not wanting to anger the demon that he was going to be spending the day with. He just hoped that his companions would be okay with either own demons. "O.. Of course, sir." Standing from where he had been sitting, Kail pulled his jacket back on before zippering it up. He wasn't exactly hungry, if anything he was a bit sick to his stomach after everything that had gone on within the past day. Glancing towards the other two in the room before he followed them out and downstairs to where the food was set out for them. Frowning, he stayed away from the table, crossing his arms over his chest. Even if he wanted to eat, he didn't trust the food. Who knew how long it had been there.

Nixon narrowed his eyes slightly as he listened to his fellow demon. "I figured it was wiser to wait for you to return. I am the one helping you after all." He wanted to point out that he could have just stayed with the rest of the demons and that would have left Zeta on his own to try and get a hold of his own child and everything else he planned on doing. Not that Nixon actually liked the idea of sticking around with the rest of the demons. Everything had seemed to strict and cramped for the male. Crossing his arms over his head, he nodded his head as his companion spoke. "Even if by some chance you are able to return to your home lands, you won't be able to return back to your every day life. You will out live all of your family members and friends. While things may seem the same, they never can be again."
Noticing the hound walk into sight, Nixon took a small step away from both his companion and the hound. He had yet to grow accustomed to the hellish beings, even after hanging around with Zeta and the creatures that followed him. He didn't understand how the male could be so calm around them, even being a demon he was wary of the creatures.

TAU
Kayden crossed his arms over his chest as he listened to the explanation and the questions that were being thrown at him. He wasn't that worried about this strange land, he doubted it was any more dangerous than his own home. His eyes traveled down to the hound as it took a step forward, not phased by the beast. He was sure that it could tear him apart if the ragged looking man wanted it to, he wasn't afraid. The beasts back home were ten times the size of the dog. Seeing as neither of the other two who had been found with him weren't talking, he tilted his head to the side and decided to speak up. "It honestly isn't to different as far as I can tell from my own world. Torn down cities and towns, strange creatures that apparently have no problem eating whatever or whoever they can get their hands on. The only difference is the city is much larger than the one back home." If things weren't going to work out between the five of them, Kayden had no problem turning and walking away. Surely there were going to be more humans around, and he could handle himself with the creatures that supposedly wandered the streets.

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

PHI
Somnia quickly slipped on her boots after carefully wrapping her blades around her legs once again, though she wasn't completely certain what to do with the "grenade" so she just shrugged and clipped it back onto her belt. She followed close behind the girl from yesterday, hoping that she hadn't gotten herself too deep into something too bad, but with her luck, it was worse than she could even dream up. Her eyes darted around he room as they walked through the door, trying desperately to pay attention to anything but the others there that seemed like they were familiar with the place. She knew how many there were, but having so many of them gathered in one place felt almost intimidating. Though there were a few other kids there too who seemed more awkward and more like they didn't belong there any more than she did. She spotted Raven nearby and tugged on Kaus's sleeve to get her attention before making her way over to the boys. "sleep well?" she asked tiredly, addressing the whole group.
Omicron
Astrum worked his way to his feet awkwardly, almost falling on his face on the way to the door because his foot was asleep. he stumbled his way down the stairs, doing his best to keep Kail between him and the sharp toothed little girl that seemed so fond of him.
B
Tirza jogged up the steps, fumbling a bit with the objects in her hands as she slowed to a stop in front of Harir. "just had a good idea" she said, giving him a rather apologetic look, hoping she hadn't worried him. Sh brushed past him a moment later, placing her pile of stuff up against one wall and looking over the slowly growing group before her.
Delta
Petram looked to the door when someone knocked, freezing in his place beside the bed, one of his hands still under the mattress from where he had been tucking the sheets in. He looked the male up and down for a moment before standing up straight and shifting his gaze to the younger boy that had been with him since yesterday to be sure he was paying attention, only to find the boy looking towards the door, his eyes fixed on a point just over the strangers right shoulder. /he's good... but not perfect/ he thought to himself before turning to the male at the door again.  "yes?" he asked curiously, wondering what was happening now.
Om
Sliet lead the way to the room where a bunch of the others were already gathered. She smiled a bit at the familiarity of the situation. it had been a very long time ago since they had been dragged here themselves, but she could remember it well, and it had been about as awkward as this.

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

Post by Deathcap Thu Sep 04, 2014 9:35 pm

A
Harir was quickly distracted from Beta as more of his companions and the children descended the stairs and either gathered around or at the table. Most seemed too uncomfortable or nervous to eat, and they weren't getting anywhere like this; it was time to cut to the chase, but was it possible to break it softly to a bunch of kids that they could never see their families again and the fate of the world was about to be in their hands? He had braced himself for negative reactions and outbursts, but he still didn't feel ready for this.

Pythi stood at the back off the large dining room, watching the kids with interest. She smiled in a friendly manner whenever one of them made eye contact with her and helped get things ready, but  for the most part she just watched and pondered about where young Upsilon might be. Strangely enough, he seemed to be the brother of young Epsilon from what she could tell from hallway conversaitions and what had gone on last night. Maybe it would be useful  to get to know young epsilon, he would probably have a strong connection with her own counterpart. The problem was dealing with Epsilon himself, the man was never a fun one to be around.

O
Ororo Started to get frustrated as Astrum seemed to be avoiding her, ducking around Kail for the most part as she tried to get his attention; there was something to show him, she had decided, and Kail was in the way of that.  She let out a sudden growl of frustration and bit Kail's arm, doing what she could to tell the other he was  being a problem.

Sig
Ijetu had left the campus an hour before Alpha had called everyone awake, and he'd been marching along since, scouring the streets and getting dangerously close to the human compound as he searched for both his counterpart and the others who had been left behind the  night before, as well as Zeta and Phi. He didn't care in the slightest how much stronger or weaker than himself they were supposed to be, he wanted to know why they had left and he was going to do what he needed to do to get answers.

Tau
Wufa stood around, watching the children both in wonderment and sadness. She hoped that despite the odds her counterpart would be were safe for the time being. As soon as this meeting was over, she planned to go looking for them. For now, she drummed her fingers anxiously along her forearm, arms crossed.  She wished Alpha and the others would just get on with it so she could stop wasting time.  Spotting Sliet entering the room, she walked over to the other, smiling in greeting and glancing back at the children fallowing her, eyes widening in surprise as she looked at the girl devoid of any energy, her gaze flicking back to Sliet in question, though she didn't directly mention it. "Hey, are you alright after last night? I heard you kicked Zeta's ass?" She grinned in pride of her friend, despite the bad feeling she had about Phi and Zeta leaving them, she still wanted to encourage the other.

Ep
Spol knocked on the door of young Epsilon's door, and carefully opened it, looking over at the boy near the window. "Hello. We'd like you to come downstairs now if possible; you can get something to eat, and we're going to be explaining things a little more." He told the other curtly but not in a purposefully unfriendly way.  "My name is Spol... " He offered, not sure if the other felt like talking or giving his name, he tried to be courteous to the other, who had probably been through a lot; though he was terrible at tact.

Theta
Willow sat at the far end of the table, perched awkwardly on the end of her chair with her feet beneath her, her hood pulled up as she devoured the questionable food without a second thought. She was so hungry that it didn't matter what it tasted like; it was hot, she hadn't had to hunt it down and kill it herself, and it wasn't moving: she'd take it. She glanced around a little at the other people, and they mostly just made her nervous, but they didn't seem to be after her food, so she ignored them.

Omega
Raven immediately felt like making himself smaller and disappearing as he walked into the crowd, not comfortable with the sheer population in what now seemed like a small place. He stuck close to Kail and Astrum, his arms crossed as he looked at the floor. Not really feeling up to eating at the moment, he refrained from sitting as well. He only looked up as Somnia approached and greeted them with the girl from the night before. "O- okay... I guess. What about you?" He asked.

Z
Zeta glared at the other for a moment, and then shrugged. "If you feel like going off alone, go ahead. Nothing grows out here and nothing lives besides us and the undead. You'd starve or die of the could alone, and your only option are the religeous extremists across the river who would burn you alive for your gifts, or others like myself who would only use you-" He broke off in mid sentence, then turned to Nixon abruptly.  "Sigma is nearby." He uttered under his breath to the other. "We should move."

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

Post by FictionalPieces Sun Sep 28, 2014 8:27 pm

((Okay I'm slowly going to pick at this to get it done. Uh I also think this is the only ones I need for this post? I don't know if I'm missing a character or two lmao ))

ZETA

Kail followed along with everyone else, trying to move out of the way of the little demon girl when he realized that Astrum was attempting to use him as a shield. The last thing he needed was to be harmed or even worse before anything was to be explained or whatever else was going to happen. With a sigh, he opened his mouth to bring it up to Astrum that he didn't really want to be his own personal shield, but the only sound that came out was a yelp instead once his arm was bit. Moving his arm quickly out of the way of the little girl, he frowned and pushed the sleeve of his jacket up to inspect the bite marks.
Looking up as Somnia spoke after walking over, he shrugged before turning his attention back to his arm "Well enough I guess..." he muttered, dabbing at the blood with his other sleeve.

D

Jerosia smiled and dipped his head as his counterpart turned to look at him. "There's no need to make your bed. That will likely be taken care of later on," he informed him. It was good to see that the bed had been used though. "Breakfast is ready downstairs if you two would enjoy some food. We're also going to be explaining what exactly is going on, so it's wise that you head downstairs. Hopefully we can make things more clear to you guys."

Epsilon

Hearing a voice come from somewhere behind him, Damian jumped before he turned around quickly, eyes wide. This whole place was strange, and he wasn't to sure what to think about it all. All he wanted to do was find his brother and go home. He didn't care if their parents would be angry for them seeming to disappear, he just didn't want to be stuck here. "Uh.. O-okay..." It would be good to know what was going on. Maybe he'd be able to find out where exactly Joel was. Moving away from the window a little cautiously and towards the door, he crossed his arms over his chest and nodded "I'm Damian..."

------

P

Nixon took a step forward as he glanced over towards Zeta "We don't need to scare them off, Zeta. Remember, it was you who decided that we needed the help. If you scare them off, they won't be able to try and get a hold of young Zeta for you," he reminded the other. Turning to the children, he let out a small sigh "It would be wise to stay with us for the time being until you know for sure that you can find your way to the other's, or the humans across the river. While it seems quiet now, this land is anything but. There are numerous creatures out there that wouldn't hesitate to have you for a meal, much like Zeta has said." Hearing the muttering of his companion, he stopped for a moment before nodding "Moving would be wise." Looking towards the three children, he turned slightly "Follow us."

TAU

Kayden glared back at the two males, crossing his arms over his chest as he listened to them go on. Nothing seemed that much different from home. The only real difference as far as he could tell was the fact that there was a lot less people and a lot more buildings. "And you think my home land is any different?" he questioned. "Besides, how do we know that you aren't lying to us? For all we know, we could survive." Letting out a snort as they were told to follow the two strangers, he rolled his eyes and stayed where he was for the time being. Like hell he was going to follow them.

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

Post by melodiousmysteries Wed Oct 01, 2014 10:02 pm

Om
Sliet smiled at the other female as she approached, rather happy to see the other. Wufa was always nice to her. "yeah, he definitely walked away in worse condition than i did." She said rather proud of herself, though it hadn't all been her. "Though i'm not entirely sure what Harir intends to do with the girl." she said a bit quieter. She had noticed her friends glance at the human and now eyed the girl for herself. She seemed rather skittish, though there were few in the room that didn't seem on edge. Even a few of the demons seemed rather off. "We brought her in by mistake last night. there were so many kids around, we didn't even notice until she was already bunking with young Phi. Don't see how much harm she could do now though, I mean, around all of us."

Phi
Somnia shrugged rather shakily, the blood running from her face at the thought of her own nightmares. "alright." She opened her mouth to say more, but stopped as Kail yelped, looking back and forth between the odd white haired boy and the small girl. This place was really messed up.

Th
Nadia watched her counterpart quietly from the other side of the room, debating on whether or not to approach her yet. The girl seemed rather happy on her own so she let her be for the time being, turning her attention instead to the human girl as she walked in. She looked her up and down almost critically before turning to look at alpha a look of worry and confusion on her features. why would a human be here in the first place? and why hadn't Alpha done anything about it? She frowned, deciding not to voice her concerns.

Omicron
Astrum flinched as the small girl bit down on Kails arm. He wasn't usually this afraid of kids, or anything for that matter, but the kid had fangs, that was not not normal. backing up a bit more, he scrambled his way behind Raven, keeping rather close to the boy and peeking over his shoulder at the child. "you, you can do things." he half hissed to Kail shakily, his accent coming through a bit in his mild panic. "Kill it with fire."

B
Tirza stiffened as the human girl walked in. it had been a very long time since she had been near a human without them trying to kill her, and her them. She quickly looked Harir up and down. what was he thinking? why hadn't he told them about her? he must have had his reasons. but what about Eta? oh no. Eta. She pushed her way through the groups of people in the direction of the stairs to hopefully intercept Eta before he noticed the girls presence.

Delta
Petram looked at the strange person in the doorway for a moment before nodding and heading for the door and following him to where all of the kids were gathering, careful to walk somewhat loudly so the other boy could follow as well.

Psi
Stagnum frowned. he hated this situation in it's entirety, though it did not stop him from following the other two to the best of his ability.

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

Post by Deathcap Thu Oct 02, 2014 9:52 pm

Omega
Raven looked up in alarm as Kail yelped, only to see, to his confusion the little girl letting go of him and baring her teeth at Raven now as Astrum hid behind him and suggested destroying her. Seeming even more fed up, she stepped forward and tried to duck around him, but Astrum kept moving. Annoyed, she dug her nails into Raven's coat and tugged at him, trying to move him out of the way, then to her anger, he patted her on the head and stepped back a little. "Can Astrum eat breakfast first before he plays with you?" He asked, and she tilted her head sardonically, not impressed with the compromise. "I know you waited a while to see him, but he'd feel much better and be more friendly if he could wake up a little bit first. Is that ok?" Raven asked, smiling hopefully at her.
She stared back at the boy for a few seconds, then huffed sadly. She didn't like this one. She looked forlornly at Astrum, puffing air out again even more pitifully, before wandering off.  Raven glanced back at Astrum and Kail in question and concern.

O
Ororo sulked over to the stairs, the taste of the other boy's blood awful in her mouth. She just wanted to play with Astrum, but the other wanted her dead? She didn't understand; was it because she had hurt his friend? She hadn't meant to- that happened a lot, she got carried away in her emotions and forgot the strength and power she possessed, unlike other children, and sometimes she even hurt her friends, that's why she liked her friend so much, the other never seemed to get mad at her when she squeezed her hand too hard or bit instead of giving a goodnight kiss. She looked for Sliet, still feeling relatively sad. She came up to the other and leaned against her leg silently, not seeking attention, just comfort. She knew the other the busy.

Tau
Wufa looked at the other in alarm. "He must have some sort of plan... but I'm surprised that one of the others hasn't torn her apart yet." She muttered. "She shouldn't be here, if she escapes..." The woman turned as Alpha walking into the room and most of the children seemed to be here, now. But a disturbing amount were still absent from the campus entirely.

Kaus stood nervously beside Somnia, worried and jumpy, she was definitely getting some looks, and honestly, she should have been dead by now and she was perplexed that she still hadn't been touched and noticed. She kept her arms crossed tightly and fiddled with the edges of her shirt, trying to remember to stay calm and breathe; she wasn't going to get out of this by panicking, if at all.  She wondered if any of her companions had noticed she was gone, if anyone was looking for her.

U
Pythi stood at the edge of the room, watching everything go on. As she watched Spol come down with young Epsilon, she turned and walked over. Spol immediately tried to avoid the tall demon as she approached. So rude all the time. She thought but caught his grudging attention, even though she wanted to talk to the boy, not him. "Hello there." She smiled. "You're young epsilon, yeah? I got word about your brother, and I think he's here, too... from, well, the others have said and such." She let on to him relatively quietly, she didn't need Spol prying about how she learned these thing, he was too curious already and it made her look bad.

Ep
Spol Led the way out, holding the door for the other, and trying to be calm, the other seemed kind of upset but he wasn't sure what to say. As they made it down the stares he saw a flash of rich hair framing a smiling face, and quickly tried to stride away from Pythi, but to no avail, her legs were as fast as her running mouth. He opened his mouth to say hello, but she was already talking to Damien. How did she know that? How did the other demons know that? Why hadn't he heard anything? Snorting and saying nothing as usual; pretending he was disinterested, he listened and seemed to ignore her words to the boy.

A
Harir walked up to the front of the room, making sure almost everyone was present before he called attention. He noticed Sigma's absence briefly, but wasn't too concerned. He hadn't worked out a specific speech, but he hoped he'd be able to find someway to explain things without being too harsh. If things went wrong, they were going to go very wrong. Some of the children here could kill all the others in the room accidentally if they got upset enough. The unpleasant thought crossed through his mind and he looked around, his face hiding the growing concern he felt.

--------------------------------
Z
Zeta has just about lost it with the children. Especially the smart ass. But somewhere in his mind he knew if he blew up at them, they would only retaliate. "You /will/ die if you go alone. If you don't believe me, then leave. I won't stop you. But I won't help you when you come back to me with nothing to eat but dust and rotten, maggot infested flash, or when the lovely things that come out at night swarm you by the thousands eat you alive. And I know this world is not like yours because if it was I would be shocked to know how you survive on a diet of dirt and air and acidic water, and who birthed you if everyone there is dead? I told you that you need us, and you do, as much as we need you. So I'll tell you one last time, you can come with us and help us, or if you want to die, leave." He growled each word coldly to them, mostly the boy who had challenged him. He turned and strode after Nixon. "Come along, now.

Rho
Otto looked at the group of people around him, torn, he was scared of the strange, raggedy man, and his friend, and the angry, cold one only freaked him out with his odd fur pieces.  How had he wound up here like this? He strayed beside the silent boy, who worried him the least, his ears flicking to catch noise that the others didn't seem to hear yet. He felt anything but sure of what to do in the situation. It had been so long since he had even been outside the white, confining walls, and not only was the open space and dirty air alien to him, is seemed to be full of things waiting to kill them. He watched the unhealthy looking dog, waiting for it to act on it's obvious hunger as it trotted past them after the men

Om
Sliet wrapped an arm around Ororo without looking, her hand running through you girls hair in a comforting manner. "If she escapes she will be in the most densely creature populated part of the city, and probably won't make it back to any of the others. In any case, she's just a poor confused kid, just like the rest of them." she said quietly, a note of pity in her eyes.

Omicron
Astrum relaxed considerably as the small girl walked away, backing away from Raven and crossing his arms over his chest. he refused to look any of the others in the eye as he mumbled a short thank you to Raven and apologies to Kail.

Sigma
Calor stared at the strange looking boy beside him for a moment before giving the loud boy a rather annoyed glance. why was he so adamant about arguing? it would be much easier if he just did what he was told. everything usually hurt a lot less that way. looking rather bored, he blinked a few times before following the rag covered man and his friend.

Phi
Somnia looked at the boys rather confused as to what had just happened. She sighed heavily before eyeing the toes of her boots, conflicted. she briefly wondered how they would react if she told them about what happened last night after they went to their rooms, or how even Kaus would react for that matter. she hadn't told her everything after all, at least, not the details. she sighed again, deciding to tell them all she knew later. they didn't need even more information thrown at them in one morning. turning towards the table, she gave a rather tense looking Kaus a comforting nudge on the arm and sat in one of the many seats and eyed the food skeptically. what even was that?

Et
Peter had the door to his counterparts room half open when Tirza interrupted him. he gave her a rather unimpressed look. "yes?" he asked impatiently, wanting to get in to meet his counterpart.

B
Tirza stiffened taking on a more defensive position. If she said the wrong thing he would snap... again. and she would have to go back... again. She drew herself up straight, and fixed Peter with a stern look. "could you please go outside and keep an eye out while we have the meeting with the children? There were some run ins with Phi and Zeta last night and i would rather not have them bothering us this morning." She said flatly, refusing to look away from Eta. he glared at her for a long moment in silence before smiling pleasantly, turning half jogging, half skipping away. "sure, whatever you say. makes sense." he called over his shoulder before disappearing. Tirza sighed relaxing and peeked into the room. She smiled weakly at the boy on the bed before speaking. "Hi. it's Adrian right? would you mind coming with me? we've got some food downstairs and are going to try to explain some things." she did her best to keep her voice pleasant before turning and walking back to where the others were gathered. She sighed as her eyes flitted over the group of demons and children again for what felt like the millionth time. Walking up beside Harir she gave him a look that said "i really hope your ready for this" before bringing her thumb and middle fingers to her mouth and whistling as loud as she could to get the attention of everyone gathered. Her eyes swept over the group one last time as the room grew quiet and turned an expectant gaze to Harir again.

PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS Empty Re: PART 2 (CONT'D ROLEPLAY) + POSTS

Post by Deathcap Sun Oct 26, 2014 10:54 pm

Tau
Wufa nodded, though more or less in agreement with Sliet about the young girl. She worried Sliet was caring to much about it. The girl would die when the wrong person became aware of her at the wrong time, it was as simple as that. What they needed to worry about was making sure Peter didn't tear her to pieces around the other kids.

A
Harir stood still at the front of the room, glancing at Tirza in a silent thank you as she called the children's attention, he cleared his throat and waited for the room to quiet before speaking. "Welcome to all that are here.  I know that you all have questions, and I will do my best to answer them. Understand that what I am about to tell you is no ruse or lie; although some of it may be shocking, or hard to believe. But I ask you to please bare with us, until I am finished." He began, his voice steady and practiced.
"As some of you have already discovered, and others have yet to learn, each of you possesses a unique power to manipulate the world around you. And you have inherited this from us. We are the same, your predecessors. Around this time, hundreds of years ago, each of us was born with one of these unique abilities that we took on from someone before us. Now we must pass it on to you. It is not a matter of choice- ours, or yours. But like us, you will become invulnerable to harm, and your life with stretch on. You will be able to move between worlds, and you will become capable of things you never imagined. You can, when the times comes, go home, if you wish... but for now, we must survive here, and work together. Many of you were witness to the horrors of the night, and that is the reality of this world, until the day when you all can leave. . It's not far off; I promise you.  But until that time comes, there is nothing we can do but try to survive, and prepare you. And despite these powers inside you, you cannot live carefree or irresponsibly.  The world, all worlds, depend on your lives, and how you spend them." He paused, but started again before the children had a chance to start talking and protesting. "For now, we are trapped in this place. And more children like you are lost to those across the river, where the humans of this world make their home.  Our past with them is long and too dark to explain everything, but they are not well intentioned. They are the reason we cannot leave this place, and if we are not careful, you will meet the same fate, as the children who were captured by them may be in danger of now, but there is only so much we can do at the moment.  For your own safety, please do not leave the Campus. If... you want to take time to think about this, you are welcome to return to your rooms, or to meet with my companions, for each of you, there is one like you among them; and they have been waiting to meet you." He finished. There were still so many things unanswered, and he was ready for explosive reactions. It was obvious most wouldn't be finishing their breakfast.

He walked over to Kail, where he stood beside the other children.  "Kail. Are you ready? Come along." He gestured, looking down at the boy. He wasn't really asking. He would try to spend some time on the other before working on getting the other children back. He was scared if he ignored him that the other might try to leave or get into things he shouldn't be, without Zeta to guide or drill him on things.

Omega
Raven remained quiet throughout the speech as he stood beside Kail, Astrum and Somnia. This only confirmed what he had been told by several others the day before, but he still felt a sense of shocked disbelief. He glanced at Kail to see how the other was reacting, but said nothing, only looking up as the man who had spoken approached. Right. He had told Kail to stay with him today. Astrum's counterpart was obviously the little girl, right? and Somnia, he had no idea. And then the human girl, what was going to happen to her? He felt hesitant about leaving them all. There were so many unknowns, and he felt far from trusting towards these people. At least- Sliet seemed genuine, but...
He wasn't scared to be alone, but he felt a sense of uncertainty about what was going to happen to them.
Raven narrowed his eyes at the realization of the cause of his worries. Was he really attached to them? He inwardly berated himself. That was ridiculous.
He'd barely known them for a day. But... they were different than faceless, cold soldiers whose names he never learned. Maybe it was different here than where he'd come from, however, things could still go wrong... only, he felt himself worried that they might.

Kaus
As the leader spoke, Kaus remained close to Somnia. Confused by some of what he said. He was lying, or not giving the whole truth. He must be. Her people didn't intend the hurt the kids; they wanted to save them from these people, to stop them from destroying her people, they wanted them to save this world. Right? Her fists clenched as she listened, but said nothing.

Theta
Willow listened to all this uncertainly, not quite understanding. She didn't like the idea of being stuck here. It wasn't a nice place to be, and she felt very exposed without the cover of trees. Besides, she barely understood most of what the others said, because she hadn't ever learned much of a language.

O
Oriel stayed with Sliet as Harir spoke, watching some of the children with interest. She was annoyed with Astrum after his rejection, but it was probably time to go get him. Though she felt less than enthusiastic now. He'd probably run away again. She left her friend and found the snowy haired boy, peering around a chair at him before lunging and grabbing his hand, ready to drag him off. She had an idea, and grinned at him mischievously. She knew the perfect way to get him flying.

Otto fallowed the group hesitantly, but looked back to see if Kayden was coming as he walked, worried they were going to leave him behind with those dogs.
