So just a side plot concerning the demons shortly after arriving at the present world, and having grouped together in a deserted part of town for the first time. None of them really know each other, except for a few who encountered each other previously. You can jump in anywhere or roleplay in a separate
time.  )

Pythi watched the other deathless ones from a distance, staying unengaged in the awkward small talk. It was amusing seeing these people, some who had been arrogant and fearless in their immortality now struggling to communicate and work with others after they had been alone and free for so long. She noticed a particularly out of place girl off to the side. Her hair was an ebony mess and she seemed more awkwardly human than godly being, and Pythi decided it would be fun to make her as uncomfortable as she looked. The girl was only Omega after all, what would she loose from having a little fun with the lesser girl? She strode over, completely ignored by the others, and looked the other in the eyes, her tall form stooping a little in a degrading way, as if speaking to a child. She spoke in a hushed voice. "You can't honestly plan to hang around the others looking like that?" She murmured. "You're in the presence of gods, sweetheart, try showing some respect and cleaning your self up; your a disaster.  I know you've probably spent your time up till now fooling around with your fire and playing games, but it's time to grow up a little and tidy up all...That" She gestured her hand at the girl in general. Standing back, the woman pursed her lips. "You understand my language right?" She asked, not really caring. She had learned that with Sigma present everyone could understand each other anyway.  Pythi turned and walked away when another called her attention.

Sliet narrowed her eyes dangerously as they met the other females. She had already decided she didn't like this girl, mostly by the way she stooped down to talk to her, but it was only fair to warn her against what she was about to say. Her expression quickly changed though, when the girl spoke. Her eyes widened in shock, her face turning red from both embarrassment fury. Her mouth half opened to form a response but no sound came out. She stood there for several moments after Upsilon had left, an odd feeling in her stomach she was unaccustomed to, before turning on her heel and swiftly striding out of the room to find a place to "clean up" as she had said.

Nadia had been chattering happily with Rho, comparing their abilities and each doing their best to forget their current situation, when she noticed the male sitting on his own off to the side looking lost in his thoughts. Excusing herself from the conversation she wove through the group of people until she stood in front of him. She leaned down with her hands on her knees so that she was at eye level with him where he was sitting against the wall, her head tilted to the side curiously. "you're Zeta right? what are you doing over here all alone?" she asked sweetly, a kind smile working it's way into her features despite the circumstances.

Mikel sat alone beside the window frame, his back against the aged, peeling wallpaper. The young man had given up trying to get along with the others for now, and was more satisfied with the book in his lap for company.  It took him a couple of moments to notice that the voice was speaking to him at the mention of Zeta, and he glanced up at the girl in front of him, the light shining from the window made it hard to see clearly, and he felt a jolt of sudden, but false recognition before he blinked pale eyes and noticed his mistake.  Realizing he hadn't responded yet and scared to make a bad first impression on the one person who had taken the time to say hello, he stood up quickly, but accidentally bonked heads with the girl who was leaning over him.  "Ah-! Sorry!" He apologized, putting a hand to his own forehead and wincing; more at his own clumsiness than the pain. He reached out to the other in concern and hesitated. "I'm so sorry- are you alright? ...I... I'm Mikel." He added sheepishly, attempting to answer her question despite his idiocy. Maybe she wouldn't run off if he could salvage things?. "And... Zeta, too, I guess, that's what I keep getting called."

Harir walked around, feeling horribly insecure and out of his element, though he didn't show it.  These people were impossible to get organized; they'd all been fallowing their own agendas for so long that that they didn't seem to know how to cooperate. Some of them barely spoke, some wouldn't even listen to him, and for god sakes, there was a child running around that wouldn't shut up.  He frowned, watching a dark haired girl run off. Now what? they weren't even going to stay long enough for him to get a word in? Feeling indignant, he walked after her, hesitating as she disappeared into another room he walked up and knocked a little more aggressively than he intended on the door.  "Hello? we're about to get started. Can you people at least stay around for a few more minuets? Omega?" He guessed, uncertain.

Nadia cringed a little bit as their heads bumped together, but she laughed it off and pressed a hand to the sore spot on her forehead as he apologized. She smiled at him before extending a hand to shake his. "Nice to meet you Mikel, I'm Nadia. Or Theta if you would prefer i guess." she said happily, a sort of happy energy in her words.

Sliet attempted to drag the old brush through her tangled hair only to have it get stuck in the knots for what felt like the umpteenth time. She was quickly growing frustrated with brushing her hair. what was the point of this anyway? She groaned and let her hands fall to her sides, the brush still stuck in her hair. She glared at her reflection for a long moment before someone knocked rather hard on the door. she jumped about a foot off of the ground at the sudden noise and looked at the door confusedly. /...what?/ she thought, her head tilted to the side slightly.

Mikel smiled nervously when it became apparent the girl wasn't mad, and introduced herself. He let out a small breath of relief.  "Well, it's nice to meet you too, Nadia." He returned. She seemed very kind, considering he had probably given them both a head injury.

Harir pushed open the door when the other didn't answer, and was a little perplexed by what he saw. he hadn't really noticed Omega before, only seen her a few times in the commotion, and hadn't bothered to speak to her. She was the weakest of them, right? Fire or something? But  he froze at the image of the raggedly looking girl with the brush caught in her thick dark hair, looking at him curiously. It was the first time since he'd been here that he had to stifle a real laugh. She looked ridiculous and adorable at the same time. She must be from a more... 'old' civilization, she obviously wasn't used to the notion of personal grooming... But she was making an effort.  He tried to bury his smile under his usual composure as he walked up to the girl. "Have you seen a brush before?" He teased scornfully, but put his hands up in an assuring manner, to show her he meant no harm. "Hang on, here, let me help." He carefully removed the brush from the side of her head, careful not to tear it out too roughly.
"Start from the ends." He advised, gathering her hair gently and working the brush through the tips. "Like that." He told her, and brushed out a little more, momentarily forgetting his rush to get things organized. Because Hair is obviously a more important concern. God dammit Harir. He thought, but pushed the thought aside for a moment.

Nadia beamed, happy with herself for making the man smile. "So what is it you can do? "She asked, violet eyes wide and curious. She knew what some of them could do, and could guess at the rest, bur wasn't completely certain who could do what.

Sliet bit her tongue at his remark, blushing, he was supposed to be their leader after all, and for the first time in centuries, that meant she would have to really watch what she said carefully. She watched him warily as he approached, huffing quietly when he took the brush. She resisted the urge to flinch when he pulled the thing through her hair, expecting the pain that had come when she had tried. She relaxed considerably when it didn't hurt, letting him continue until she was almost leaning into the brush, enjoying the feeling. "Who are you? " she asked quietly, golden eyes looking up at him feom under the mess of hair.

"I am able to manipulate, electricity- if that's what you mean." Mikel replied softly, tilting his head to the side. "What about you? I-if you don't mind me asking." He added, correcting himself.

Harir hesitated at the question, surprised and pausing in his brushed as she glanced up at him and asked him who he was. "Alpha." He replied, trying to sound curt; he was trying to lead these people after all, but he didn't feel right about that answer, and glanced uncertainly to the side. The girl in front of him didn't seem too much like the others, and he'd already let his guard down by walking in and tending to her like that when it wasn't really his place, even if it probably was a mistake to assume she was friendly. "Uhm... well, Harir's okay too, if you want.." He added in a mumble, continuing to brush her hair out carefully until it was free of knots. He stood back, nodding. "There, that should do it.. What's your name?" He asked, glancing up at her curiously as he held out the brush. He wondered what had caused her to try to fix her appearance up, but didn't ask. He'd felt a little insecure around all the others who were in various states of dress, and wasn't sure what was appropriate, so he'd done his best to look respectable, and sort of felt for her in wondering if she'd felt out of place.

Sliet looked back to the ground a little annoyed. Alpha wasn't a name, it was a title, a symbol similar to the ones they all had. A name wasn't meant to be a title, it was meant to be a mark of who you are, not what. She perked up when he gave her a real name, considering the sound of it. Shed never heard anything quite like it, but it still sounded rather pleasant. She stood one he had finished running her fingers through her hair experimentally, marveling at how easy it was. It had been a very long time since her hair had been free of tangles. "I'm Sliet. Thank you for your help, Harir. "She said, with a small, awkward smile. She took the brush when it was offered, playing with it awkwardly, unsure of what to do now. She hadn't had to deal with adults mostly for the better part of a decade or so, so she was rusth to say the least.

Nadia considered the information curiously. Electicity? That one sounded like fun. His question snapped her from her thoughts. "Reality manipulation it probably the simplest way to put it." She said, blushing a little from embarassment. She hated using her ability. She could do incredible things with it, but she was not completely ignorant of the possibilities. She could do terrible things if she so desired. The risk of temptation mixed with her fear of the possible repercussions of losing control served to deter her from using them as much as possible.

Harir wasn't sure how to reply to her thanks. "O-oh, well- you're welcome Sliet." He responded, giving a little nod and trying to return her smile. She was one of the few friendly people he'd met, but he was glad to have exchanged a hello with her, even if it had been sort of odd. She looked about the same age as he was, but she seemed to be a little more innocent. Not that he minded. It was nice to meet someone who wasn't so solitary and arrogant as many of their companions. "We should head back to the main room... I- I need to try to get everyone organized, or we aren't going to last very long here. I'm not sure what to do to get everyone to listen, though. If you have any ideas, I wouldn't mind listening to them." He admitted tiredly before feeling embarrassed about confiding in the strange girl. They'd barely met each other, but she was the first he'd spoken to who hadn't been standoffish, and he felt so lost in all this.

Zeta smiled at her a little, not sure why she seemed embarrassed. "You must be able to do some really amazing things with that?" He asked softly. He was curious about it, but she seemed awkward about it, so it was probably better to be encouraging than to ask her too much about it. He had no idea what having that power might mean for her, good or bad.
He'd hated his own for a long time; it reminded him of his monstrous predecessor,  of the things the man had done to him. To his life- but over time he'd come to understand that anything could be used cruelly or benevolently, it was just an instrument and the fact that someone had used it selfishly did not make it a bad thing, only a tool, and he'd gotten over it. However, if someone had pried into his ability when he was still bitter, he would have been veru uncomfortable.

"Indeed, but I don't use it often. You see, if i were to mess up..." Nadia explained. Sure she could create essentially whatever she could dream up, but that would be poor judgment. Her creations had to be detailed enough that they wouldn't dissappear the moment she stopped thinking about them, and thought out enough that they do not interfere with the rest of the universe in a monumentous way. She could create and change, but her creations could destroy. Of this, she was painfully aware.

Sliet looked up at him in surprise. He was asking her for help? Nobody had done that since she had gotten here. "Well, if not your own, you could ask someone to use their abilities to get everyones atention. Phi could talk to all of them at the same time, sigma could make it so that nobody could understand eachother, but they could understand you. That would make things quieter. Isn't there somone that can move things? They could just drag everyone over if they could even manage it. The little one probably wouldn't mind helping you. Might help her burn off some energy, she could use it. Or you could just yell, that works too. Sometimes." She rambled, unsure of what kind of answer he was looking for, if any at all. Oh damn, what if it was a rhetorical question. She watched for his reaction carefully, hoping she hadn't said something stupid.

Mikel nodded quietly. "I suppose, yes, sorry." He replied, reminding himself that he didn't really understand the responsibility that the brunet likely had to deal with.

Harir glanced up at her, listening as she suggested how to get everyone to listen. He was actually sort of impressed. She had a lot of them down and understood, and was coming up with ideas pretty quickly. He nodded a bit, surprised. "Maybe you should be the one leading everyone; you seem to have things worked out." He commented, only half jokingly. From what he could tell, it sort of fell to him to lead things. Most of these people thought themselves better than the others around him, and the only thing he had to get their attention was that it seemed to be understood who was on the top and who was on the bottom of things. That didn't really mean anything besides the strength of their abilities though. He was a horrible leader, while Sliet seemed to be at least interested in the others around. However, the others didn't seem to have too much respect for her at the moment.
