Peter growled, pushing another one of the other soldiers back harshly with little effort, and was turning on another when he felt a sudden burning pain in shoulder and stomach. He stumbled a bit before blocking out the pain and turning in the direction it had come from, his eyes locking on a shorter girl with a gun. He snarled, running at her without hesitation, intent on tackling her.

Pel tensed in fear as the other charged her; staying on his feet was one thing, but running at her with a hole through his abdomen? She fired the last shot in panic, but it barely nicked him. At the last moment she lurched forward and tried to smash the empty gun down into his face before stumbling back as he crashed into her. Loosing her control in her terror, she let energy rip forwards, intending to burn the boy, but felt a terrifyingly familiar jolt before she jerked back into a wall and crumpled to the ground, blinded and deafened in the few seconds before everything went numb.

Peter flinched a bit as the gun was smashed into his jaw, but still didn't stop, bowling into the girl mercilessly. He knew something was a bit off the moment he touched her, and he realized just how much so less than a second later. Peter jerked back in pain and confusion, falling to the snow in a daze. He rolled over weakly, struggling to get to his feet, suddenly feeling weak, dizzy and sore everywhere. It wasn't long after he managed to stand that he felt something hit him in the back of the head, going unconscious before he hit the ground.

After things had more or less settled out, Raven wanted little other than to remain with Pel and tend to his friend. He'd been terrified by the way her tech had just seemed to quit. It wasn't till after she'd regained consciousness that she explained about the other droid.
Checking over the other now in the artificial light of the room, the brunet didn't look well; his tech was definitely fried, and doing nothing for his injuries. He cut away the fabric from the wounds and worked on cleaning and packing them with cotton and bandages to stay the bleeding, concerned more than anything for the injury in his stomach; it would go septic if he didn't recover soon. In the process, he started to notice scars all over the other's body, and felt his stomach twist in concern; they were finer and more neatly healed, but nearly identical to his own. Where had the federation even managed to find a droid to torture and use?
He put down the bandages and retrieved a cold pack, pressing it gently to the swelling bruise where Pel had struck him with the gun, and leaving it there, he hesitated for a moment before getting a blanket and resting it over the other.

Peter shifted a bit as he woke, slowly. He remembered the fight, and he hurt all over, but at least that meant he was still alive. But why? He opened his eyes quickly when he heard someone else in the room. The droid looked around in panic for a moment before his gaze locked on the stranger, with a mix of fear and anger. He threw the blanket off and jumped at the boy, grabbing him and lifting him up off of he ground so that he couldn't get away. No sooner had the others feet left the ground than he felt a tearing pain in his abdomen and his shoulder seemed to give out on him, dropping the boy in favor of pressing a hand to the source. He felt slick blood under his fingers where he had reopened the wound, he started to shake slightly crumbling to his knees with the pain.

Raven jumped and let out a yelp of shock as the other lunged and grabbed him, alarmed at the sudden force. As he was held up, he started to protest, not wanting to use the knife hidden against his ribs; especially not when the other was so badly wounded already. As the brunet set him back on his feet, he stumbled back a bit, wincing as he noticed the blood. "Easy, I'm not going to hurt you," He tried to assure him gently, pulling his sterile coat from his arms. "Your tech is down, so just take it easy." He crouched to the other's level, holding out the white coat. "Hold that to the wound okay? you don't want to loose any more blood." He added softly. "Can I help you back to the bed?" He reached out a little after a moment, to offer support, but not touching the boy unless it was okay.

Peter stared at the other with mistrust and making no motion to take the coat from him. Without looking away from the strange boy he half stumbled half crawled his way back to the bed, sitting on the edge uneasily. what happened after that fight? and who the hell was this kid? His coat kind of looked like those of the doctors he was overly used to yet not overly fond of, but the boy himself wasn't as familiar. He was far younger than most of the scientists he was usually exposed to, and he was being uncomfortably friendly. Was this some kind of trick? He hadn't been shocked when he'd attacked the other, but whoever had the controls might not have had time to before he let go. In any case, the blood showed no sign of stopping. Usually it would have slowed by now. This was probably bad.

Raven slowly got up, setting the coat to the side and following the other back to the bed, increasingly worried as the other continued to bleed, but not wanting to incur any further violence or panic on the brunet's part. "Will you let me help you?" He asked, picking up the gauze and cotton again, then wondering for a moment if the other didn't understand him. "Est ce que je peux te aider?" He asked again; the federation operated on multiple languages.

Peter looked the other up and down for a moment before looking around the room for the first time. Not finding anything looking particularly malicious, with the boy or his surroundings, he nodded hesitantly but kept a wary eye on the other.

Raven nodded, carefully trying to pack the wound and hold off the bleeding, wiping away as much of the blood as he could from the other and packing it, taping gauze over the wound as gently as he could. "There. I'm going to get you come clean clothing." He told the other, glancing at the blood soaking the other's damaged uniform. He retrieved a cotton shirt and pants, walking back, and set the folded items on the bed. "Here. Those should be more comfortable. It might take a day or so for your tech to come back online, depending how badly it's messed up. Until then, you'll be in a lot of pain from your injuries, but we'll take care of you. You're safe here and can rest as long as you need too, but you can leave whenever you want. all I ask if that you don't hurt anyone while you're here." Raven spoke gently but seriously; he was taking a huge risk not having the other locked up, but he knew from Pel that not much, be it bullets or iron bars, would keep a functioning droid down. The alternative to letting him recover and become a threat was letting him die in pain without his tech. So he was praying maybe, just maybe, this person could be a friend.

Peter watched the other uncertainly. He seemed to know a lot about his tech, more than he did himself. He would almost say he was back at the damn lab if this kid wasn't so weirdly nice. He even wanted him to specifically not hurt anyone.
The brunet nodded in agreement with the boys terms. How hard could it be? Looking away from the boy he looked at the pile of clothes for a moment before reaching up with his good arm, pulling his torn shirt over his head, hissing at the fabric caught on the gauze covering his wounds.

Raven felt slight relief as the other nodded, then became sort of worried as the other hissed in pain. He took a step forward to help but thought better of it, not wanting push into the other's personal space anymore than he had too. "I-I'm just going to get you some water and something for the pain, I'll be right back." He told the other, leaving the room.
He walked into the main infirmary, pausing to check on Pel, who was laying stomach down with her face sideways in her pillow, staring at him tiredly as he approached.
He patted her shoulder sympathetically, reaching down to tug the blanket up a little more for his friend. "Can I get you anything?" He asked softly, but the girl just blinked at him before turning her head into the pillow and letting out a negative-sounding groan.
Raven felt uneasy at this, taking a moment to leave her before looking for the pills; he knew Pel was okay, but she wasn't used to pain and discomfort, and didn't handle it well. He just wanted to make her laugh or stay by her side until she felt better.

Looking a little more dreary when he returned to Peter, he held out two bottles of medicine for the other to see. "This one's regular pain killer, it'll take the edge off, but not much more... And this one is stronger and should take away most of the pain; but it'll put you to sleep; which is probably good for you right now. Is that okay?" He asked, not wanting to drug the other into unconsciousness without his knowledge and permission.

Peter ignored the other as he left the room, struggling to put the clean shirt on with as little pain as possible. He had just managed to pull the new paints on when the other returned, turning to watch him warily again before returning to sit on his spot on the bed. He looked between the two bottles as their contents were described, mulling over his options for several seconds before pointing to the one that would let him sleep. Something told him that he didn't want to be awake much until his tech started working again, and if they were going to kill him, they probably would have done it already.

Raven nodded, and unscrewed the cap carefully, dropping two of the tablets into his hand and passing them to Peter before giving him the ration of water he'd brought along. He closed the bottle and put them both back into his pocket. "W-well, I'll keep checking on you and be around if you need anything." He added uncertainly before heading off to let the other sleep and look after other injured.

When he returned several hours later; he had a smallish dog with him, sticking close to the boy and thumping her tail against his legs as she looked around curiously at her surroundings.
"H-hey," Raven addressed the other. "How're you feeling?" He asked softly. "I brought Luna along. I thought she might make you feel a little better; she's a therapy dog, so it's kind of what she's trained for." He explained, petting the creature gently and glancing at Peter to make sure the other didn't seem afraid. "Would you like to pat her?" He asked, letting the dog explore a little closer, looking at Peter with large, curious eyes. Her tail was wagging enthusiastically enough to shake her body and her mouth was opening in smiling pants as she looked between the two humans.

Peter looked up when the other returned, blinking at him. He seemed to deflate when he saw the dog, not looking forward to what usually happened when animals were brought to him. He frowned a bit in confusion when the boy explained, looking at the small dog uncertainly. The brunet carefully lowered his hand to the dog as though he was sure she was going to bite, letting her sniff it before awkwardly patting her on the head.

Raven smiled a bit as Peter pet the dog, feeling sort of relieved. "Gentle, Luna," He said softly, watching carefully and feeling an overpowering sense of protectiveness for his companion, but stayed back a little, ready to call her if she seemed to be annoying or upsetting the other.
The dog seemed to burst with excitement as the other pet her head, wagging her tail harder and gently licking at his wrist. She inched closer and put her head on the sheets, resting her body against the side and sitting. After a moment, she put one paw very gently on the bed as if to see if it was acceptable for her to get up.

Peter relaxed significantly when the small canine licked his wrist, petting her more naturally. If he wasn't mistaken, she seemed happy, enjoying the attention. He shifted back on the bed a bit so that he could lean against the wall, allowing the small creature to climb up with him.

Luna rested both her paws on the bed, pushing herself up with a careful, slow motion. She settled near his legs, pausing to lick his hand in thanks before laying down softly and resting her head and one soft yellow paw on his thigh, staring up at the boy almost lovingly and she continued to wag her tail.

Raven hesitated for a moment; they seemed fine together, and the other looked a little more calm than before, though he was still sort of scared for the dog, not really sure what the brunet was capable of. "I... I'll leave the door open encase she wants to leave or you want her to. I just have to check on others..." He spoke up softly, heading out again and trying not to fret too much.

Peter watched curiously as Luna climbed up onto the bed, continuing to pat her head gently once she had settled. He glanced up when Raven left , giving him a more aggressive look on his way out before returning his attention back to the dog. It was less than fifteen minutes before he fell asleep, his hand resting on the small canine's back, the other around his middle.

Peter woke to a sudden sharp, burning pain that was all too familiar. He shut his eyes tightly, crying out and grabbing tightly to the collar around his neck as the muscles in his shoulders and back seemed to seize up with the pain.

Luna yelped, springing from the bed as the other thrashed. She rounded to look back at the other with her tail against her legs and let out a concerned whine, inching forwards after a moment and then turning again to bolt from the room.

After several minutes she charged back in and hopped back up on the bed, laying firmly against him and nuzzling him gently. Raven finally caught up to the dog, looking bewildered. "What's the matter?" He asked urgently, approaching the other and looking over him in worry.

Peter shook when the electricity stopped, his breathing ragged as he curled in on himself on the bed. He ignored Luna when she laid next to him, looking up to snap at Raven when he got too close. "Hafta go back." He said, stifling a groan of pain as he slowly pried his fingers from the collar

Raven glanced at the other's hands at his neck, seeming to be in agony as he tried to get up. He felt alarm rise up in his chest as the other spoke, hesitating. "Go back?" He asked, moving out of the other's way, remembering his promise that the other wasn't trapped here. Though he wondered if he'd developed a fever or was out of it from the pain or medicine. "Y-you're not going to make it back if you try to go so far in the snow like that; what's wrong? I can help you?" He persisted gently, worried the boy might drop dead if he made it out into the snowstorm outside.

Peter pushed himself off of the bed unsteadily, somewhat aware of where Luna was so he wouldn't step on her. He swayed on his feet for a moment before shuffling towards the door. He'd almost mad it into the hall when the electricity started again, sending him sprawling to the floor with a cry of pain.

Raven felt a pang in his chest as he watched the other struggle up and try to walk past him, wanting to help but worried how the other would react. He tensed as the other cried out, lurching forward to catch him as best as he could and easing him to the ground as he collapsed. He looked from the other's neck to the boy's tensed form. It was the collar doing the to him. Who the hell was even activating it? "Just hang on; we're going to get that off you," He muttered determinedly. "Will you let me look at it?"
